ARTEMIS/DIANA. The twin sister of Apollo. The goddess of forests and hills, childbirth, and the hunt. She looks after virgins and women. The goddess is also associated with the moon. Certain cults embraced her as goddess of the witches - the wise women healers of the time. It is said out of herself she divided the darkness and the light, keeping the darkness of creation for herself and creating her brother Apollo the light. This is based on the Alexander Calder sculpture at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
We use a 40's combed cotton shirt for most of our blanks (men's, women's ,deep vneck). We find it to be the thinnest, softest, most comfortable American made tshirt on the market. Both the tank top and regular v neck are a more relaxed fit (eat all the ice cream you want). The unisex long sleeve is more fitted and thicker for cooler weather.
All shirts are hand dyed and hand screened in New York City. They are preshrunk and do not bleed. We use water based fabric paint which is better for the environment, the health of our screeners and are softer to the touch.
